Now through June 3: Shakespeare on Canvas

This spring, the Yale Center for British Art will present “While these visions did appear”: Shakespeare on Canvas, an exhibition drawn from the Center’s permanent collection of paintings, that explore historic representations of Shakespeare’s scenes and characters by artists working in Britain during the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.
